Marc David Maron is an American comedian, podcaster, writer and actor. In the 1990s and 2000s, Maron was a frequent guest of The Late Show with David Letterman and appeared more than forty times on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, more than any other comedian. He hosted Comedy Central's Short Attention Span Theater from 1993 to 1994, replacing Jon Stewart. He is also a frequent guest of Tough Crowd alongside Colin Quinn and hosts the 2002 pop-up show of the UK game show Never Mind the Buzzcocks on VH1. He is a regular on the left-wing Air America radio network from 2004-2009, host The Marc Maron Show and co-hosts Morning Sedition and Breakroom Live. In September 2009, shortly after the cancellation of Breakroom Live, Maron began hosting the bi-weekly WTF podcast with Marc Maron, where he interviewed comedians, writers, musicians and celebrities in my garage in Highland Park, Los Angeles, California.
